Aaron Levie passed on Figma's seed round: 'We kind of make images fine'

Levie met Dylan Field during Figma's seed round but couldn't picture designers collaborating in real time, despite believing in cloud software for everything. He calls himself a Luddite on that pitch, to his detriment.

“I Yahoo'd him. I think I was, I hope I was like 3% better at the follow-ups, but I met him and I didn't have the creative imagination for what he was talking about. And I obviously should have because I believe in cloud-based software for everything. And he was like, designers are going to do real-time collaboration on stuff. And I was like, I don't know, man. We kind of make images fine.”
