The $75K happiness ceiling is a myth: satisfaction rises to $500K

A Track Your Happiness study of ~40,000 people found life satisfaction and experienced well-being both rise in a straight line from $15,000 of household income up to $500,000, debunking the famous claim that happiness plateaus at $75,000.

they're both like from $15,000 of household income up to $500,000. They're tracking like up into the right, just like a straight line. So the more income you were getting, the more sort of life satisfaction you were having, um, during— at each step of those. It didn't just plateau at $75,000 like the old kind of like that quoted, quoted study is.
