Idea
A storefront-sized claw machine with PS5s and golf carts as prizes
Riffing on Ari's claw-machine-only kids arcades and on Clawee, a remote claw-machine app Sam says does $30-40M in revenue, Shaan goes the other way: take over an empty downtown storefront and turn the whole building into a giant claw machine with huge prizes at about $10 a go, built as a spectacle people stop to watch.
“So, uh, here's the idea. I think claw machine, but just scaled up MrBeast style. So like, don't you ever go shopping like in your downtown and you're like, how is the store open? Like, how many people are buying candles from here? Like this? How could you possibly pay the rent? So we find one of those and we just replace the building with a giant claw machine. So it's a claw game, but the claw is huge and the prizes are huger.”
Steal thisTurn a dead storefront into a spectacle: scale a familiar game up until watching it is the marketing.
