Sam made $1,000 a day on $0.14 bottled water at his hot dog stand

Sam recalls his Nashville hot dog chain, Southern Sam's Wieners as Big as a Baby's Arm, where bottled water bought for about $0.14 from Restaurant Depot sold for $2-3 (more at night when patrons were drunk). The water, not the hot dogs, was where the real money was: up to $1,000 a day.

“I used to own a chain of hot dog stands in Nashville and when it was real, it was called Southern Sam's Wieners as Big as a Baby's Arm. And, and I would crush it on bottled water. In the daytime, bottled water would cost $2 or $3. And at nighttime when everyone's drunk, you definitely add a little bit more to it. I think from Restaurant Depot, I think a bottle of water was $0.14”
